Advising Meeting
-
How can I get academic or career advice during my time at UCR?
- You have two advisors to help guide you through your time as a Plant Biology major at UC Riverside.
- The first is your Academic Advisor at the CNAS Undergraduate Academic Advising Center, Norma Palacios. Academic Advisors help you monitor your progress in satisfying course work requirements for the major which includes future schedule planning.
- The second is your Faculty Advisor. Your Faculty Advisor is a professor in the Department of Plant Sciences who can provide you with information related to your specific academic and professional interests. You should schedule a meeting to talk to your Faculty Advisor at least once a year.
-
Why should I schedule a faculty advising appointment?
- Your Faculty Advisor is committed to helping you progress through the major in a timely fashion and making sure you get an educational experience relevant to your future goals. Your Faculty Advisor can help you:

Is there additional information for transfer students?
