Deadlines: Registration, Classes and Fees

Any student receiving a Teaching Assistantship (TAship) or Graduate Student Research fellowship (from grants or the campus) must be enrolled full-time with a minimum of 12 graduate units or the equivalent. All registration holds outside of the program (Student Business ServicesHousingGraduate Division, etc.) must be cleared in order to be eligible to register.

The campus academic calendar lists all registration periods, exam periods and campus holidays.

The schedule of classes lists course offerings each quarter including information about class size, instructors, location and offering times.

Fee payment deadlines are typically the 15th day of the month prior to the start of the term.  It is critical to pay fees by these deadlines. The program’s Student Affairs Officer must process several forms; last minute payment of fees may result in an unmanageable administrative burden for the Student Affairs Officer and consequently missing the deadline, so payment well in advance of the deadline is highly recommended.
