• BEUSA

  BEUSA: The Botany and Entomology Undergraduate Student Association is an academic club that strives to bring those curious about insects and plants into an interactive community.  BEUSA welcomes all students on campus to their meetings. • R’Garden

  R’Garden: The R'Garden is a multidisciplinary program rooted in student advocacy, and UCR's agricultural history. Located in Lot 30, Section 3, the space is just under 3 acres and contains fruit trees, row crops, a native pollinators hedge row, and community garden plots. R’Garden provides a space centered around student leadership and climate action. Grow your own food or donate it to the campus pantry.

• UCR Gardening Club

  UCR Gardening Club: Gardening Club is for students passionate about seeing sustainable initiatives on our campus and in our communities. They raise awareness about local sustainable food systems and environmental justice while empowering students to take collaborative action. They hope to create a safe space for gardeners of all levels.

• Herbarium

  Herbarium: The Herbarium at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) serves as an important source of information for the Southern California regional community as well as for botanists from around the world. UCR specimens and records are used by academic researchers, biological consulting firms, farmers and other individuals involved with plants as a business, research topic, management concern, or just a personal interest. 

• Botanic Garden

  Botanic Garden: The UCR Botanic Gardens is a living museum curated to inspire and facilitate education, research, and interpretation of the natural world. Located in the foothills of the Box Springs Mountains on the east side of the University of California, Riverside Campus, the Gardens covers 40 hilly acres. Visit the collection and gardens, wander over four miles of scenic trails, or just relax on a bench and enjoy the beauty and vistas.

• Departmental seminars

  Departmental seminars: The Botany and Plant Sciences Department hosts a weekly seminar series on Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm in the Genomics auditorium that includes both local and invited speakers. Undergraduate students are welcome.

  UCR Career Center: UCR's Career Center is dedicated to Connect, Inspire and Empower current students and alumni on their career paths. Stop by their state-of-the-art center to learn more about what it takes to become a successful professional in the workplace. Schedule an appointment with one of their career specialists for career guidance, resume reviews and interview prep.
