RESEARCH INTERESTS: My research focuses on invasive Mediterranean grasses, such as Schismus barbatus and Bromus rubens, in the deserts of southern California. I am interested in native and exotic species seed bank dynamics and how nitrogen deposition influences this. I am also investigating how exotic grass density and nitrogen deposition affect the germination, growth, and establishment of native annuals and perennials.
